From Breakdown to Breakthrough — Part 2

A quick spark of encouragement to reset your faith and fuel your week.

Scripture

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5 (NIV)

Devotional Thought

Obedience rarely makes sense at first.
But it always makes room for Jesus.

In Part 2 of my conversation with Rachel Ngom, we step into the moment God whispered a prophetic word that would dismantle everything she built — and rebuild her life on His terms, not hers.

When Jesus said, “Lay it down,” she didn’t get the blueprint. She didn’t get the why. She simply got an invitation to trust.

And on the other side?
Clarity. Alignment. Open doors she never could’ve engineered. Nations. Ministry. Restoration.
This is what happens when obedience becomes your yes.

Your breakthrough may not look like a miracle moment.
It might look like surrender.

Reflection

Where is Jesus inviting you to let go of something you’ve been holding in your own strength?

Ask Him:
“Lord, what step of obedience are You waiting for me to take?”

Prayer / Activation

Pray this aloud today:
“Jesus, I trust Your voice more than my understanding. Whatever You ask, my answer is yes. Rebuild what I’ve held in my own strength, and lead me into the alignment, clarity, and freedom You have for me.”

Optional Invitation

If you missed Part 1, go back — it’s the healing story that set the stage for everything God did next.

Until then, keep saying yes. Breakthrough follows obedience.
