Disappointment with God in Business: How to Trust Again and Move Forward

Scripture “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5 (NIV)

Devotional Thought Sometimes disappointment doesn’t look like rebellion. It looks like caution.

In this week’s episode, I share about business failures that quietly shifted my expectancy.

I didn’t lose faith — I just became guarded.

Through Proverbs 3 and Isaiah 49:23, I realized we’re not disappointed because we trusted God, but because we attached our trust to an outcome.

The solution wasn’t better strategy. It was surrender.

When you anchor your trust in God’s character instead of your timeline, hope returns.

Reflection Where have you grown cautious instead of trusting fully?

Prayer “Father, I surrender my disappointment. Restore discernment where suspicion has crept in. Teach me to rest my full weight on You again.”
