Prophetic Business Coaching: Why Purpose Without Presence Leads to Pressure
When Purpose Becomes a Distraction
“My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:14 (NKJV)
Last week, I shared how I slipped into performance.
This week, I’ve been paying attention to what it actually feels like to lead from Presence again.
Here’s what I’m noticing:
Peace is sharper than strategy.
Rest isn’t just stillness — it’s movement without striving.
When I walk with Him, things feel lighter... even when they’re big.
God's Presence doesn’t remove responsibility.
But it removes the pressure to carry it alone.
Reflection
Where are you striving right now? Where have you confused momentum with obedience?
This week’s podcast episode: When Purpose Becomes a Distraction
I unpack what it looks like to follow Presence in real decisions — work, family, and calling.
It’s simple, but it’s not soft.
Ready to lead from Presence, not pressure?
If this stirred something in you — let’s talk.
I’m opening up a few 1:1 spots this month for leaders who want to build from a different source.
You don’t need more noise. You need alignment.
Let’s walk it out — together.
