As Christian entrepreneurs and business leaders we often pray for God to bless our business plans strategies and goals.

But what happens when God moves in a way you never expected?

Living By Faith At Bethel

During our time at Bethel we were surrounded by students living radically by faith.

Young people trusting God to provide for rent groceries school fees and everyday needs with no certainty about where the money would come from.

And somehow again and again God would show up.

One testimony that stood out was from someone driving home behind a truck when a chunk of concrete smashed into their windscreen destroying it completely.

They parked the car expecting to deal with insurance and repairs the next day.

But when they woke up the following morning the windscreen was completely healed.

No crack. No damage. Nothing.

Moments like that challenge the way you see God’s provision and presence.

The Sales Explosion That Changed My Faith In Business

At the time we already had businesses including ecommerce property and barbershops.

We understood hard work and creating wealth.

But being in that environment stirred a different question in me:

“What does it look like for God to bless the work of my hands?”

Instead of bringing God a detailed plan and asking Him to bless it we simply surrendered and trusted Him.

Then shortly after that one of our Amazon products unexpectedly exploded in sales.

A magnetic dartboard product that had previously done around $2,500 in monthly revenue suddenly jumped to more than $25,000 in sales in a single month.

Even after increasing prices and turning ads off demand kept growing.

That moment genuinely shifted something in my faith.

It felt like God was showing us what His favour in business can look like.

What Christian Entrepreneurs Need To Remember

One of the biggest lessons I learned was this:

Sometimes we become so focused on telling God how to bless us that we miss what He is already breathing on.

As business owners it’s easy to become attached to specific outcomes strategies and timelines.

But God’s favour often flows differently than we expect.

When God blesses something there is a grace on it.

Momentum feels different.
Doors open differently.
Things move without constant striving.
